David Hokanson

Mr. Hokanson is a founding member of FONEMED and a Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Registered Health Underwriter, and Certified Financial Planner. He started Creative Planning Inc. with a partner in 1982. The company is a registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission. David is a contributing writer for the Kansas City Business Journal as well as other business publications. Mr. Hokanson is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Kansas City Chapter International Association for Financial Planning, Inc.

Mr. Hokanson is on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City as well as the Greater Kansas City Arthritis Foundation. In 1991 he was appointed to the Nominating Committee for the Arthritis Foundation. Nationally, he has presented many seminars and workshops across the nation in the field of financial planning, including presentations to the Million-Dollar roundtable, CLU Institute, Wright State, Purdue University, KC Star/Moneywise Financial Fair, and the IAFP Success Forum 1997. He was elected in 1991 as Chairperson of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Agent Advisory Board. He graduated from the University of Kansas and holds a Masters degree in Financial Services from the American College.
