Michael L. Weaver, MD

Dr. Weaver is a member and medical director of FONEMED. He is also the Medical Director for St. Luke’s Emergency Services in Kansas City. In addition, he provides physician services for St. Luke’s Urgent Care Program, a program that provides after hours, non-emergent care. He lectures and teaches extensively on health topics and is a Clinical Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine. He is co-director for Spirit of Kansas City Life Flight, past president of the Missouri Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and on the Board of Directors at St. Luke’s Hospital. In addition, he served as a Chairperson on the State Advisory Council for Emergency Services which developed health care standards and patient care protocols. He is a member of the Missouri American College of Surgeons, Trauma Center Review Team and the Emergency Department Consumer Report Advisory Committee. Dr. Weaver graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency.
