FONEMED Nurse Advice Line Enhances Ceridian LifeWorks Program

(October 27, 1999) St John’s, Newfoundland - FONEMED Canada has signed an agreement with Canada's leading provider of workplace effectiveness services, Ceridian Performance Partners Ltd., to distribute nurse triage and Personal Health Management services under the private label: "HealthLine" through its specialized and highly effective call center operations.  FONEMED's health advice and information services will be offered as an integral component of Ceridian's LifeWorks  OneSource™ service program.

This is the fourth Canadian service agreement FONEMED has concluded since the official opening of its call center in St. John's, Newfoundland in March.  Chief Operating Officer of FONEMED Canada, Dr. James Broad stated: "this alliance with Ceridian Performance Partners significantly extends our reach into the employer sponsorship market, which complements our work with third-party payers and business to business customer loyalty programs".
