FONEMED-CMN Joins the CMN Family of Services


Toronto, Ontario - December 1, 2004 - Canadian Medical Network is pleased to introduce FONEMED-CMN, a new company designed to provide nurse triage services to North American, Caribbean and international markets.

The new partnership between CMN and FONEMED North America's (www.fonemed.com) call centre provides a 24-hour, seven days a week nurse triage service to physician practices, hospitals, and affiliated groups in United States and Canada. The call centre, accredited by URAC (www.urac.org), is based in St. John's, Newfoundland. Registered nurses there provide medical advice and assistance to subscribers by telephone and Internet. Proven medical protocols by world famous pediatrician Dr. Barton Schmitt and adult medicine specialist Dr. David Thompson combine with the latest computer / telephone technology so that the nurses guide callers to the right care at the right time and place.
