This Occupational Exposure Hotline provides a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line to assist individuals exposed to bodily fluids, communicable diseases or environmental exposures, including pandemics and bioterrorism.
Using guidelines and standards compliant with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Specially trained nurses complete a clinical assessment and recommend intervention.
Early intervention reduces long-term consequences that frequently accompany occupational exposures. Data collected during post exposure ensures proper intervention for patient and can assist in improvement of safety practices.
